Project Highlights
Herold Engineering Limited was the design engineer, project manager and contract administrator for this project (construction recently completed) which includes a 4.0m wide multi-use trailway, a steel girder bridge, roadworks and underground utilities in the vicinity of Harewood Centennial Park.
The project is split into two (2) components:
1. A 4.0m wide 420m long multi-use trailway with 25m long pedestrian bridge across the Chase River
2. A utilities upgrade consisting of 240m of 450mm dia. sanitary sewer upgrades and 700m of 200mm & 300mm dia. watermain replacement. Portions of the watermain upgrade were along Bruce Avenue, a collector roadway.
Also included were topographic survey, geotechnical coordination, archeological coordination, utilities liaison, and multiple stakeholders.
