Project Highlights
Herold Engineering aided the Regional District of Nanaimo with the assessment and subsequent removal plan for the previous deteriorated forestry road bridge prior to being engaged to design a replacement Pedestrian bridge. Herold Engineering completed the concept design, consultant team coordination, detailed design, tendering services and construction services ensuring the project stayed both on time and on budget through to completion.
The design was completed including allowances for climate change and designed using a low maintenance structure to accommodate the design intent and performance requirements of the owner.
